This 5 bedroom, 5 1/2 bathroom villa boasts hand-made and hand-painted floors, hand-made clay-roofing tiles, and incredible stone walls. All of this gives you the feeling that you have entered the Old World and just within a 30 second walk to the beach!
However, Villa Antigua has all the 21-century details: Wi-Fi internet, video security system, integrated stereo and sound home theater system, high-end stainless steel appliances, gas grill, air conditioning throughout, digitally controlled access, plasma TVs, large covered garage.
Located in the desirable south beach in Jaco, Costa Rica, Villa Antigua sits just off of the beach, and is walking distance from downtown. Surrounded by 9 foot high walls and a gated entrance, and guarded dusk to dawn by a security officer, it proves to be both secure and private.
The home is designed around a courtyard and a pool with running fountains and underwater lighting, and overlooks beautiful tropical gardens that border a creek. The great room is truly immense, with living area, dining area and open kitchen with breakfast bar. A loggia room on the second floor is perfect for relaxation in a covered yet windowless environment. All of this makes Villa Antigua perfect for family and entertaining.
There were no compromises made in the construction: all solid concrete inside and out. Attention to detail is obvious and the space is appreciated more and more with the discovery of each detail. Villa Antigua has been labeled the "Best House in Jaco" by nearly everyone who has visited.
Cleaning every second day and at check-out is included in the rate. Additional cleaning can be done optionally at a cost of $40 per day.
